From White Castle to the White House

Family Enterprise USA is showcasing a presentation, From White Castle to the White House in several cities around the nation in 2012. The educational session highlights the importance of family firms to our society and our economy and it references the public image and public policy challenges that inhibit their continuity. The story is told from an organizational level and features the well-told, firsthand story of White Castle, a 90-year old American icon and America's first fast-food hamburger chain.

Ann Kinkade, President of Family Enterprise USA discusses the importance of FEUSA's work as the nation's most credible voice and trusted advocate of family firms and how its message is driven by the stories of America's family firms.

Jamie Richardson, White Castle's Vice President of Government and Shareholder Relations and 4th generation in-law, shares how the company upholds its family values and maintains its culture in the context of government affairs, public relations and community engagement.
